a refinished dresser

Our home is filled with hand-me-down furniture; from our couch to our dining room table to our dressers. We're so thankful that we were able to fill our newlywed home without having to spend a lot of money. I've slowly taken the time to paint and refinish most of the pieces that are very outdated (with the exception of our terribly ugly, but comfy, couch).

I have this love for bright white homes...white walls...white furniture...white dishes...you get the picture. Well, with only one of our larger pieces of furniture left to paint, I decided to go bold and painted it a bright, kelly green. What I can tell you is that I still love white furniture, and while green is my favorite color, it's not my favorite dresser color. However, I've decided to keep it green (for a while at least) to see if the color grows on me. Luke is very indifferent about the whole ordeal. So I guess only time will tell if this dresser was meant to be this bold...or if it was meant to blend in just a little bit more.

Note: The beautiful knobs are from Anthro. We got them for Christmas from my uncle. (Thanks, Uncle Greg!)
